Check in a rider's bike with one scan, and keep them posted

For shops: skip the paperwork at check-in and stop fielding "is it ready yet?" calls.

1. Scan or enter the code The rider shows a QR code from their Garage. Scan it with your phone, or go to Customers → Import bike and type their 6-character code or paste their link.
2. Start the quote Check the bike and what they chose to share, then press Add to your shop and start a quote. The bike, mileage and customer are filled in for you.
3. See their records The quote's Bike tab shows their live odometer, services due, service history and notes, plus receipts if they shared them. The assistant knows it too.
4. Send job updates Press Send update on the Job status bar: Checked in, Diagnosing, Waiting on parts, Work in progress, Ready for pickup. Add a note with any step.
5. Ready for pickup Moving the job to Ready for pickup emails the rider, with the total if you tick Include the quote total. Their rating shows on the job bar afterwards.

Tips

• If the rider stops sharing, you keep the last copy of their records.
